Sir Don't remove my The Vesign page . I provided refrence here . I have also a some popular website refrence . Give me one chance to add refrence and more details here Thank you 2409:4051:4E98:CA41:0:0:7289:840F (talk) 04:06, 2 May 2022 (UTC)

Done The page has been deleted. MathXplore (talk) 04:26, 2 May 2022 (UTC)

RfD nomination of Category:Multi-paradigm programming languagesEdit

An editor has requested deletion of Category:Multi-paradigm programming languages, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2022/Category:Multi-paradigm programming languages and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. --Ferien (talk) 15:59, 5 May 2022 (UTC)

Tag removalEdit

Cam I ask why you have removed a QD tag which you did not add from an article? You didnt even bother to attempt to improve the article other than to add cats. --Creol(talk) 07:32, 7 May 2022 (UTC)

I thought the article had minimal definition. I'm sorry if my decision was wrong. MathXplore (talk) 07:35, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) I agree with MathXplore here, the article did have some content in. A1 is for little or no meaning, and this had some helpful information that could tell me what the idea was, definitely doesn't meet A1. --Ferien (talk) 07:45, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
I always thought rejecting QD's was the job of an admin, not a regular user. Or did I miss the part where MathXplore was made an admin, as he is also supporting incorrect information in other articles while reverting the QD tags there as well... is a railway station, opened in 1985. that is little meaning so it does apply. No hint about how it is notable either. Rejecting QD is the job of admins, not users who have had to had something as simple as patroller rights revoked. --Creol(talk) 19:58, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
Creol, when I was relatively new here, I removed a QD tag where I thought the case was obvious and originally, I was told not to do it, but then an admin (Djsasso) said that removing QD tags when QD is not appropriate is appreciated - see User talk:Ferien/Archives/2021/February#Hey. As long as it's obvious (which I think it is here) then I also have no problem in non-admins removing QD tags. --Ferien (talk) 20:15, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
so you are supporting users deciding what is obvious or not.. the POV pushing never ends does it.. No wonder I didn't want you anywhere near a nomination for RfA. --Creol(talk) 20:25, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
MathXplore is a trusted editor in my view and since the patroller revoke which fyi was "by no means [...] a disciplinary or a negative action" against MathXplore (what Operator said when he revoked it), the QD nominations have gotten more accurate and his page patrolling has improved. Yeah, there are a few things to work on (for example, using the correct keys for main articles in categories) but he has done a lot of good work here and is a trusted editor within the community. This isn't just a random editor, this is someone who nominates hundreds of articles for QD every month and is becoming more and more accurate with his QD nominations as well, which shows he understands the QD policy and when QD is appropriate and when it's not. I don't think that I am POV pushing just because I agree with a trusted editor's decline of a QD and again, I will point to that talk page message from when I first started to say that I have never seen non-admins removing QDs when they clearly aren't appropriate as a problem. And if you feel the community can't trust me with the tools anymore, you know where to go. --Ferien (talk) 21:10, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
Where did I say it was either negative or disciplinary. He was removed because ". Need more experience and familiarity with page creation." Given how many times I have seen pages he worked on that still need something as simple as wikifying, I don't trust his judgement. I find your judgement highly questionable for that matter. I personally do not agree with most your discission and would never have supported you for admin. Given how you left Pave Lane and the addition of broken references to Libyan Civil War (2014–present) as examples, I question your editing as well. Its bad enough that MathXplore removes reference information from articles and leaves it for others to fix their mess (Mickey Mouse Funhouse), I expect a lot better from someone who is supposed to be in charge around here. --Creol(talk) 22:48, 7 May 2022 (UTC)

┌─────────────┘
Trusting or not trusting someone is a personal choice, so I would like to leave that decision to each editors. For issues of specific pages, we can use their talk page for further discussion. MathXplore (talk) 08:35, 8 May 2022 (UTC)

(change conflict)  You may not have said that directly, but you certainly implied it was a negative thing by pointing it out when you said you didn't trust Math to remove a QD template. If you don't agree with what I say and wouldn't have supported me for admin... then I guess that's your opinion and we disagree. I'm not sure how it is remotely relevant here to the situation here though. The page definitely isn't eligible for A1, I think many other admins would agree with me on that, and I have no idea why you have bought up things like offering an RfA nomination and a couple of mistakes I have made with articles - they are completely irrelevant here and you could have bought it up on my talk page at any time. Believe it or not, yes, admins make mistakes, all admins have, everyone does. With Pave Lane, I kept the villages in Shropshire because according to the category Hamlets in England, a hamlet is a village and I don't exactly encounter hamlets often so I trusted the category... and was wrong. And with the Libyan War article, yes, I made a mistake... I make mistakes... as does everyone here. Not everyone knows the cite templates inside out either... No wonder I didn't want you anywhere near a nomination for RfA. This comment was completely unnecessary as well, and nothing to do with this situation at all. As I have said already, if you don't think I can be trusted with the tools or even with editing rights as you are now suggesting, you know very well that there are multiple places you can go to bring up my behaviour. (1 2 3 4) But it's nothing to do with this situation here and just random to point out when we are talking about an incorrect QD on your end... --Ferien (talk) 08:36, 8 May 2022 (UTC)

questionEdit

Hi, MathXplore, I was wondering for Category:Settlements in Hokkaidō Prefecture when do I use that category? I am assuming it means any place where a town is in Hokkaido? Tsugaru let's talk! :) 03:08, 8 May 2022 (UTC)

You can also use it for city/towns/villages in Hokkaido. MathXplore (talk) 03:12, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
Okay got it! --Tsugaru let's talk! :) 03:14, 8 May 2022 (UTC)

Guideline for new pagesEdit

We had long ago agreed that short pages notice would apply to pages of roughly under 1,500 bytes. That does not mean an editor is bound to apply this as a rule, but it does suggest it should not be applied to longer articles without giving some kind of reason, such as the omission of important content. Macdonald-ross (talk) 13:27, 11 May 2022 (UTC)

Micdan MusicEdit

hello, I'm from the author of Micdan Music. Want to ask why you gave the page a quick deletion warning if the article didn't meet the requirements, thank you Mr bes (talk) 13:14, 16 May 2022 (UTC)

Since the page only includes social media or primary sources, it does not claim the notability that we expect. Such articles will be nominated for quick deletion. MathXplore (talk) 13:16, 16 May 2022 (UTC)

Welcoming usersEdit

Hello! I've noticed that you've been welcoming new users lately. However, some of the users you welcomed turned out to be problematic. I suggest that new users shouldn't be welcomed until they have shown a clear pattern of good edits. This is because the wording of the welcome template indicates that you are thanking a user for their contributions. We shouldn't be thanking disruptive editors for that. — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 13:47, 16 May 2022 (UTC)

I was sending the messages to help them learn about this place. Sorry if it just caused trouble. MathXplore (talk) 13:49, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
No worries, welcoming isn't the most important thing to do. If the user is problematic, there are welcoming templates for that case, such as {{firstarticle}}, {{welcomevandal}}. Thank you for your work! — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 13:55, 16 May 2022 (UTC)

Romford (UK Parliament constituency)Edit

I would strongly recommend not tagging an article one minute after it's created, especially with a QD. I don't think our rules say specifically, but on enwiki: Do not tag under this criterion [A1] in the first few minutes after a new article is created. This is because a user can still be working on an article for a few minutes afterwards - which was the case here when you tagged. General consensus over there is wait 10 minutes for tagging for A1. I would recommend waiting with A3 as well. If a vandal is creating lots of pages in a row then just tag a few of them and an admin will notice and use Special:Nuke. There is rarely a need to QD on creation. --Ferien (talk) 15:23, 19 May 2022 (UTC)

Ok SirEdit

Ok sir next i made it thank you 136.158.65.149 (talk) 06:11, 20 May 2022 (UTC)

Security guardEdit

Hello. What's the point the telling someone to use "other websites" instead of "external links" if you're going to immediately get the article deleted? Also, the user who made Security guard messaged me on my talk page: User talk:Lights and freedom#Security guard article. I can move it into their userspace if they're going to simplify it. Lights and freedom (talk) 00:26, 23 May 2022 (UTC)

I send the message to let the editor learn about the style that we use at here, and I didn't notice it was a copy when I send the message. MathXplore (talk) 00:29, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
Ok, I've resolved the issue. Lights and freedom (talk) 00:35, 23 May 2022 (UTC)

Removing QD tagsEdit

It's better to just leave it alone, I've reported them to WP:VIP. — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 14:17, 25 May 2022 (UTC)

All right, thank you for the notice and responses. MathXplore (talk) 14:18, 25 May 2022 (UTC)

Dear user, Thank you for your kind changes on this article. And also you have simplified it so you have removed the tag. --Jyoti Roy (talk) 05:30, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
