Warning messages

Hello, Adelaideselement8723. Thanks for reporting the IP at Vandalism in progress.

You probably didn't know, but the level 4im messages are not meant to be used as a level following a level 4 warning. A level 4im warnings is meant to be the only warning a user gets. They are to be used only for very serious issues such as personal attacks or legal threats. Yes I get what you mean, but since English is my native language, sometimes I just wanna help out on the Simple English wiki, I know that Native English speakers are supposed to help out with other stuff like copyediting or something, other users who has English as a second language or something can read these articles and see that they are simplified by other editors. I am just trying to help Wikipedia by creating articles for users to read and not have so many redlinks. Redlinks are there for the potential of new articles to be developed. I wanted to sincerely and unreservedly apologise for the comments I made to you last night, I've been around long enough to know we comment on content, not on the contributor and I also know it's not acceptable to be making those sorts of comments no matter how much someone messes up or how much someone is angry.

I went to the Administrators Noticeboard and asked an admin to move a page ..... so I couldn't (and still don't) understand why you moved it to a completely different name ... it makes no sense to me... but nonetheless that still doesn't justify or excuse the comments I made to you.

Could I please ask in future that you don't under any circumstance comment on any of my Admin Noticeboard posts please as my requests there are always for admins not editors - you're more than welcome to comment to disagree or if I've made an error to point it out but other than that I would ask you don't comment and certainly don't action my requests on ANI.

Adelaide, while I do think Davey overreacted, you don't have to comment or participate on everything at the first chance you get. For example, here your comment is completely unhelpful. Here, unblock requests are admin's job and your participation there was unnecessary. A lot of requests made to admin require either tools or a lot of experience or specific knowledge to handle. You may not know it but unfortunately despite your good intentions - you had actually disrupted the project and done more damage than good as your actions added more work for Griff to clean up, (I too disrupted the project with my comments so I'm just as much to blame too)

Given BRPs comments it may be a better idea to not comment anywhere that explicitly involves admin work (ANI, CU, peoples block requests unless you've had dealings with them and feel your comment would help and benefit the admin team),

You're learning, which is always a good thing. You're also asking first with this most recent move request, which is also a good thing. There are a lot of rules here, and nobody remembers all of them all of the time. Asking can prevent actual harm from happening, and help with you continuing to get better as an editor. Just maybe slow down on a touch on things outside of editing articles (like BRPever said above, you don't have to comment on everything!), and enjoy even the small improvements you make to articles. Hi Adelaide, I hope you're having a great day :), I just saw your comment here,

Under TW drop down menu, If you click warn and then click "general note (1)"

A dropdown box should then appear and it should say "Caution (2)", "(Warning 3)", "(Final warning 4)", "(Only warning 4im)", "(Single issue notices)" and "(Single issue warnings)",

You then click on "Single issue warnings" and then the 3RR warning should be the first warning for the second dropdown box
