Welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! Thank you for your changes, especially what you did for San Francisco Municipal Railway. I hope you like changing pages here. Here are some pages that can help you make better changes:

You do not need to log in to read or change articles on the Simple English Wikipedia. However, making an account is quick, easy and free. It also gives you many benefits such as:

  • A username of your choice.
  • Your own user page and/or subpage(s)/sandbox(es)
  • Other users can send you e-mails without knowing your address
  • The ability to move (rename) pages
  • The ability to mark an edit as "minor"
  • The ability to change semi-protected pages
  • The ability to vote in discussions
  • Keep a watchlist to see changes made to pages you are interested in.
  • You do not have to be confused on to whom any warnings are referring to.

You can click here to make an account, or log in on an existing by clicking here.

I hope you enjoy your time here. Please sign your comments on talk pages by using four tildes (~~~~). This will make your IP address and the date show up on the page. If you decide to log in, your username and the date will show up instead. Again, welcome, and I hope you decide to stay! Griff (talk) 16:00, 20 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

I know how to do this. I also do enjoy my time here, thanks! 2601:645:8780:D9F0:0:0:0:FE9D (talk) 01:33, 21 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

San Francisco Municipal Railway

change

Hi and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia. I'm Griff and thanks for helping with San Francisco Municipal Railway. I did have to undo your change as the information you brought from English Wikipedia had not been simplified for use on this Wikipedia. Hopefully the information I include above will be helpful in you making future changes, and I encourage you to make an account, as there are many tools available to registered users. Welcome again! Griff (talk) 16:03, 20 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

I don’t want to make an account, I constantly get blocked for “abusing” several accounts. But thanks for your feedback. 2601:645:8780:D9F0:0:0:0:FE9D (talk) 16:07, 20 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hmm... I can look into that. With an account, you only have one account, so you can't get blocked for abusing more than one:) Have you registered with Simple English Wikipedia before? Griff (talk) 16:09, 20 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Many times, bro. They all got blocked, so I gave up on making one. They were all created for good intentions. If you find them, I hope you believe me, hopefully. 2601:645:8780:D9F0:0:0:0:FE9D (talk) 16:11, 20 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Oh yeah, and if you don’t know what account I’m talking about, it’s ImprovingSimpleWiki. :( 2601:645:8780:D9F0:0:0:0:FE9D (talk) 01:38, 21 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Well thank you for that. I do have to warn you that making changes to Wikipedia, no matter how good intentioned they may seem, while blocked on any account, is against Wikipedia policy and will see further restrictions placed on you. I strongly recommend that you take some time away from Wikipedia and focus on other wikis outside of Wikimedia or helping your local community. -Griff (talk) 00:59, 22 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
I completely understand why you’re doing this and it’s not your fault. Thanks for your appreciation and kindness. I will return on April because that’s where my block expires. But, I still need to do a few things here. 2601:645:8780:D9F0:0:0:0:FE9D (talk) 01:29, 22 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

User warnings

change

Hello, and thank you for editing Wikipedia. I would just like to let you know that you're not grouping user warnings into months as you should be doing. In the future, when warning someone for the first time, please make sure to create a heading such as == January 2022 == above the user warning. Cheers, Hockeycatcat (talk) 11:28, 22 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Is that required? 2601:645:8780:D9F0:0:0:0:FE9D (talk) 06:10, 24 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make useful changes to Wikipedia. However, at least one of your changes, such as the one you made to "Kemio", did not seem to be helpful and has been automatically reverted by ChenzwBot. If you want to try out changing Wikipedia to learn more about how it works, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

I apologize for any inconvenience. I removed the template because it was recently imported to the English Wikipedia Template I think. 2601:645:8780:D9F0:0:0:0:FE9D (talk) 15:38, 24 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Could you please explain why you put warning template on this user's talkpage? Thanks. Stang 16:38, 24 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

They added wrong information on the article Pig. Check this revision. And by the way, that is considered vandalism. 2601:645:8780:D9F0:0:0:0:FE9D (talk) 16:43, 24 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
This edit just comes from Commons file rename process, and the reason why this file is renamed is "Author request". If you felt this rename is wrong, please leave a message at the user's talkpage who request this rename. Thanks. Stang 17:25, 24 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the change, consider creating an account so you can avoid notices that are not for you.

Hello, 2601:645:8780:D9F0:0:0:0:FE9D! Here at Simple English Wikipedia we use the section heading "Other websites" instead of English Wikipedia's "External links", which you used in "Muni Metro". This makes it simpler and easier to read. Please remember to use "Other websites" in articles that you create in the future. Thank you for your help!
