Hijab

It says "the hijab can come in several different types" including the niqab and burqa. If that's true, then the article should contain a picture of a niqab and burqa, right? Isn't it a misconception (although many western people believe it) that "hijab" just means the typical shawl covering the hair but not the face? I don't know why the man is on that picture, and you can change the description. But it seems biased to only show the version of the hijab that covers the hair only (and some hair is still visible) when the other types are common in many parts of the world. It’s the first time I’ve ever heard that hijab can also mean burqa and niqab. I’ve never heard that before. The “source” used for that claim is also unavailable… And the picture of a man ruins the whole thing. Also, there’s no consensus amongst Muslims that hijab even means head-covering or that head-covering is required in Islam. The pictures push a biased view, don’t you think? 2A04:4A43:417F:B3E9:1518:B304:7C81:1C97 (talk) 00:33, 28 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
