I did not violate any policies that I know of. I simply asked a question on a talk page and got blocked for it, with the blocking administrator claiming that I vandalized. If I did manage to violate some policy, then that was not made clear, and I would like someone to clearly explain the reasons for my block, as is required by the blocking policy. However, my edits were not vandalism, as was claimed by the blocking administrator. In conclusion, the unclear and vague blocking summary of simply "Vandalism" was inappropriate considering that my only edit consisted of asking a question on a talk page. If my edits did violate policy in some way then the blocking summary should have specifically stated that policy and any other reasons for blocking. Thank you for giving me a chance to explain. 50.251.229.185 (talk) 10:07 pm, Yesterday (UTC−4)
Decline reason:
The tone of this indicates clearly that this is by one of our LTA editors, whom we are quit familiar with. The IP in Question actually is an open proxy, and the block will be extended and block settings changed accordingly. -- Enfcer (talk) 20:04, 18 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the change, consider creating an account so you can avoid notices that are not for you.
This is the discussion page for a person who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it.
We have to use the numericalIP address to identify them. An IP address can be shared by many people. If you feel that things said here are not about you, you can create an account or log in to stop it happening again.
