- So why did you block this account? --Alpha Quadrant talk 01:29, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
- A case of mistaken identify. fr33kman 01:45, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
- Mistaken identity of whom? --Alpha Quadrant talk 01:56, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
- A case of mistaken identify. fr33kman 01:45, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry, but that would give out private information of another person and I am forbidden to do that. A case of mistaken identity means that at first I felt User:WP was a violation of our username policy, and that the edits of that account and yours, coupled with your user agent and a "badusername", fit that of the banned user fairly closely; so as an immediate safety action that caused me to block you. After checking your SUL and speaking with others, it is now likely you are not that user. Hopefully you can understand, it was nothing personal. fr33kman 02:21, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
- Ok thanks for clarifying. I have been editing on en.wikipedia for almost 6 months. I have a alt account and have never been blocked for it. Therefore this was very confusing on why this happened. So I talked to The Earwig on IRC about it. However you say I am likely not this user, you mean you still think I might be a sockpuppet? If so how can I prove to you that I am not. Here is my edit analysis [1] and [2]. With that data you should be able to analyze my edit pattern as well as the time I edited on en.wikipedia, where I primarily edit. I hope this helps. --Alpha Quadrant talk 03:27, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
- You don't need to prove anything. fr33kman 03:35, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

- Yeah, sorry about that. I noticed the date of death after I clicked submit. I fixed it. Alpha Quadrant talk 01:26, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
