IEP 2.0 proposal

I regret that it was necessary to join you and others in disagreement with the IEP 2.0 proposal.

In my opinion, a better start-up plan was used in an SEWP pilot program in Japan. I mentioned it here, but two sentences may have been overlooked in the wall of words:

"... a very different kind of strategy has marked the development of a pilot SEWP program at Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU) here and here. Strategic planning and context-building here and here were quite distinct from the IEP 2.0 proposal."

With regret, I found that cumulative diffs persuaded me to express strong disagreement with the IEP proposal.

I didn't want to disagree; and I very much didn't like the sense of being pushed into it. For me, this becomes a challenge to try to fashion a more balanced response.

As a small step, I highlighted one plausible alternative? Could this be constructive? Could this have been overlooked? Perhaps this may trigger ideas about better ways to handle something similar in the future? I don't know. Maybe?

At this point, my guess is that the proponents of IEP 2.0 don't "get it"; and they're unlikely to pay attention to explaining in different words.

In frustration, I wondered if it might be more helpful to reach out to those few — like you — who parsed the relevant issues more quickly than I did.

Do you know the idiom "turn lemons into lemonade"? This is my small attempt to do something other than nothing. This is an attempt to say something other than "no".

I was thinking that "those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

Will you take a look at Template:Olympiabilanz?

Please review the issues which are explained here.

Eptalon suggested that you may have a point-of-view about using this DEWP template?
