Thanks for the warm welcome! Salam to you too. I have a question: Is there some list of Pakistan-related wanted articles I can create? 🪐Haumeon 20:39, 4 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

You’re welcome. There is a small list of Requested pages in the Article Creation section of our To-do list. you can assist by creating the listed articles. I will be adding more tasks to the page later. – Cyber.Eyes.2005Talk 20:48, 4 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

How new members can help

change

Thank you for joining WikiProject Pakistan! New members can help by listing articles that need improvement, patrolling existing pages, or creating new ones in our To-do list. Be sure to add tasks in the appropriate section with a brief description of what needs improvement or attention. If you create new articles for the project, please list them under New articles. Your efforts won’t go unnoticed—just like the saying in Pakistan, "The fruit of patience/hardwork is sweet." There are awards and barnstars waiting for you! :) – Cyber.Eyes.2005Talk 11:08, 5 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Cyber.Eyes.2005 I made all the to-do list pages. Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 12:02, 5 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Great job! Don't forget to add at least one category and one reference to the created articles so they can be marked as patrolled. :) – Cyber.Eyes.2005Talk 13:27, 5 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
I know, I just didn't have time. Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 07:05, 6 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

all stubs though Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 07:13, 6 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
We can start with stubs. The purpose of this project is to initiate articles and then improve them to become some of the best on Simple Wikipedia. :) – Cyber.Eyes.2005Talk 08:17, 6 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Cyber.Eyes.2005 I will leave out the ancient cities/sites for other people, can you replace the ones I did with newer ones? Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 08:45, 6 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
  Done - Listed new entries. – Cyber.Eyes.2005Talk 09:41, 6 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
I removed Stoneage in Pakistan, it is not really important Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 04:41, 7 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Cyber.Eyes.2005 Can you check these and rate them?

Law enforcement in Pakistan and Crime Investigation Department (Pakistan) are stubs  . List articles follow their own grading system, and the ones mentioned here are simple lists  . You can grade them yourself and add them to the New Articles list. I've outlined the detailed criteria for each grade here: User:Cyber.Eyes.2005/WikiProject Pakistan/Grading scheme, though I'm still working on it. Also, I thought I had replied to this earlier, but just to clarify—an article doesn’t need to be particularly important to be on the To-do list. For example, we can keep "Stone Age in Pakistan" there until it's created. Happy editing! – Cyber.Eyes.2005Talk 13:11, 8 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Should I link this group as a replacement for the portal on this?

LagoonGoose (talk) 14:59, 5 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

I don't think we can do that. Simple Wikipedia doesn't use portals, and WikiProjects here aren't official. That's why they're on user subpages. We don't link from mainspace to userpages. – Cyber.Eyes.2005Talk 16:17, 5 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
@LagoonGoose The word is "portal", not "porthole". 12.190.177.187 (talk) 16:18, 5 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Classifying

change

Could you please grade/classify my article Sistan Basin? I think it should be B+ or B. 🪐Haumeon 19:21, 6 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

I gave it a B (en:Wikipedia:Content assessment/B-Class criteria). – Cyber.Eyes.2005Talk 06:18, 7 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
