change

Thank you for changing Wikipedia. We welcome all changes, but we can have only changes that are in simple English, and your new changes to "Tomorrow's Pioneers" were not simple. Please see Wikipedia:How to write Simple English pages so you can write more simply in the future. Thank you. AsterđŸȘ» talk edits 00:22, 12 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Asteralee I’m a bit confused by your comments.
It seems straight forward to me:
“the show will air on Friday nights” is the sentence I removed.
The show has not screened for more than a decade.
My only other edit was to change
“Tomorrow’s Pioneer’s is highly controversial because they talk about things that could be seen asantisemetism”.
to
“Tomorrow’s Pioneer’s is highly controversial because it has been described as containing antisemitism”.
which I stand by as being a better description of a show that has the following dialogue:
Nahoul: "We will liberate Al-Aqsa from the filth of the criminal Jews, who killed my grandfather, and killed Farfur, and history will bear witness to that."
TV Host: "Sabah, what do you want to be when you grow up?"
Sabah: "Journalist."
TV Host: "Wow, Journalist! Nahoul, we need journalists."
Nahoul: "Why? So that... so that they will photograph the Jews when they are killing Farfur and the little children?"
TV Host: "Yes, Nahoul."
Child: "We will go on Jihad when we grow up."
Nahoul: "Yes, we are the Jihad warriors, me and you!"
Child: "Allah willing."
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. If you had a reasonable criticism I would take it on the chin, but I think my edit passes the ‘man on the Clapham omnibus’ test.

Amusingly I didn’t change it to “
has been described as antisemitic, ..” because then it would have required a lot more edits.
Also, you’ve described my edit as ‘complex English, how is that edit complex? Is English your second language? Is that the issue? EthicalAugur (talk) 00:53, 12 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please do not make unhelpful changes to Wikipedia, like you did to Asteralee's talk page. The changes you made seem to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. Can you please explain to me why they appear to be vandalism? EthicalAugur (talk) 01:39, 12 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Because you did this edit here and it is not helpful. Thetree284 (talk) 01:42, 12 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Thetree284
Oh are you talking about the accidental delete? The edit I removed myself as soon as I saw I’d done it? Is this what you’re referring to? EthicalAugur (talk) 01:45, 12 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes, you blanked her talk page and it is possible vandalism. Please don't blank any talk page including mine. Thetree284 (talk) 01:48, 12 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
You believe that was on purpose? Wow. I can assure you, it was an absolute slip up that I reverted immediately. Am I on some watch list or something?
I get that there are concerns about vandalism. But that isn’t what I am doing. It was an accident that I corrected immediately. Which you can see. And you can also see that the edit I made which was reverted within half a second (because it had a typo leaving out the word ‘as’ which I went back to edit and then hit an ‘edit conflict’ because of the revert.
Still not a great ratio of women here eh?
I wonder why. Couldn’t be people fast and loose with reverts and sanctions could it? EthicalAugur (talk) 01:53, 12 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
I am okay if is an accident, it is fine and anyways happy editing! Thetree284 (talk) 01:57, 12 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
