Welcome change

Hello! I am assuming you have come over from the English Wikipedia, so you are probably familiar with the way this wiki works. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. Here are a few links to help you adjust:

There is much to do here. For example, there are a lot of articles that do not exist yet, which you can bring over from the English Wikipedia and simplify. Do have a look around and see what you would like to do. Thank you for joining us, and you know how to contact me if you need help. Cohaf (talk) 05:46, 11 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

February 2022 change

Hello, Gaelan. When you revert a user's changes, like you did earlier, don't forget to leave the user a message on their talk page, especially when reverting vandalism or a test edit. You may find Template:User talk page warnings/table useful when doing this, to let them know that the change was considered inappropriate, and to direct them to the sandbox. Thank you. @Bobherry: Hmm, I'm just using the Q button in Huggle; that usually gives a warning. I think it skips the warning if the user already received a warning very recently, so they have time to see and respond to a warning before they get the next one? Gaelan 💬✏️ 14:00, 1 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
I haven't used Huggle on simple wiki yet, but I sometimes had the same problem on the enwiki with huggle. I normally check my edits every so often and would warn with twinkle if it misses it. Same way with SWviewer. Bobherry (talk) 14:02, 1 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Right, I had a look at the Huggle code and this is indeed the case: Huggle, by default, won't warn if they've received another talk page message in the last 2 minutes, on the theory that they should have time to react before getting another warning. This behavior can be controlled with the checkboxes in the "Confirming" section of the "Warnings" tab of the Huggle preferences screen. Gaelan 💬✏️ 14:18, 1 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
