Hello Me!!

Welcome from an Online Ambassador

change

This is a copy of the message I left at your English Wikipedia account.

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am one of the Online Ambassadors that will be working with your class. We are available to help you with questions on editing Wikipedia and interacting with other Wikipedians. We will also be reviewing your work and offering suggestions. You can contact me by leaving a message on my talk page, User talk:Donald Albury. You can also send me an e-mail by going to my user page (User:Donald Albury) or my talk page and clicking on "E-mail this user". Most days I am on-line several times during the day, so I should be able to respond within a few hours. I will also at times be on IRC as "dalbury". Remember, if you leave a message or comment on a talk page (either a user's talk page or an article talk page), to sign your comment with four tildes (~~~~). -- Donald Albury (talk) 12:02, 2 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Moving to talk

change

Hi This is Justin--your campus ambassador. I moved some of your additions to action figure to the talk page--that's the best place to post information about collaborating. Please let me know if this is confusing or if I can do anything else to help. -Justin (koavf)TCM07:07, 23 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Another edit I've changed some formatting on the outline that you made. You didn't do anything wrong at all--I just figured that this would make it easier to view and flow with the talk page. If all this code looks confusing or if it makes it difficult for you to edit, please change it as you see fit. -Justin (koavf)TCM07:56, 1 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Action figure resources

change

Hi Natasha,

You'll see the beginning of some Children's Museum resources listed here. Cathy Hamaker, the Children's Museum exhibit developer who spoke to your class recently, may have resources relating to comics and action figures in general, so I'll check in with her. In the meantime let me know if you have any questions in regards to navigating the resources listed. Thanks! HstryQT (talk) 16:00, 2 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

a little note

change

Hi! I noticed this change you made to Action figure. It's a great start! Just a few minor comments:

  • The first section is an introduction, so it doesn't need its own header. There's no need to be too worried about complying to any Manual of Style, but we do tend to have the section headers with only the first word capitalized unless there are proper nouns.
  • I'm not sure if the title of your last section is appropriate, since it seems to suggest that what follows will be an essay-like exploration or opinion piece, and not really encyclopedic.
  • What you've added in the way of content is good. Do watch spelling and grammar though!

Cheers! sonia 02:42, 11 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
