Name order? change

As you know, you created Parupalli Kashyap. I expanded it in small ways.

Please take a look at the redirect page I created -- see Kashyap Parupalli? Also, please compare

The name is very easy to read here in the Times of India; however, the name order is reversed in two sources which are conventionally reliable:

Can you help resolve this? --Horeki (talk) 16:58, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

I guess from reading en:Kandukuri Veeresalingam that Telugu name order is flexible or variable? --Horeki (talk) 20:23, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Yes..you are right. The actual name is Parupalli Kashyap.Parupalli is the surname. However, most english people read the surname at last..hence it sometimes becomes Kashyap Parupalli. The same problem is with my name.Though it is Pulipaka Srikar Kashyap..people in the English World call me Srikar Kashyap Pulipaka ;)..I hope this clarifies.Feel free to ask for further clarification. This appears to be a bit like Japanese names.

I created Template:Telugu name; and I hope you will use it in other articles you create about people with Telugu names. Please review my small additions in these articles about Indian Olympic athletes:

Do you know of other articles which would be improved by a Telugu name headnote? What about Mani Ratnam and/or N. T. Rama Rao? --Horeki (talk) 12:54, 22 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
