Vâlcea (also spelt Vîlcea; IPA: ['vɨl.ʧea]) is a county (judeţ) of Romania. It can be found in the historical regions of Oltenia and Muntenia (both regions are split apart by the Olt River). The capital of Vâlcea County is Râmnicu Vâlcea.
