Vince Naimoli
American baseball executive (1937–2019)
Vincent James Naimoli (September 16, 1937 – August 25, 2019) was an American businessman and philanthropist. He was known as the first owner of the Major League Baseball team, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.[1] He was born in Paterson, New Jersey.[2]
Naimoli was diagnosed with progressive supranuclear palsy in 2014.[3] He died from problems caused by the disease on August 25, 2019 in St. Petersburg, Florida at the age of 81.[4]
