Wally Moon
American baseball player and coach (1930-2018)
Wallace "Wally" Wade Moon[1] (April 3, 1930 – February 9, 2018) was an American professional baseball outfielder in the Major League Baseball. Moon played his 12-year career in the major leagues for the St. Louis Cardinals (1954–58) and Los Angeles Dodgers (1959–65). He batted left-handed and threw right-handed. He was born in Bay, Arkansas.
Moon died on February 9, 2018 in Bryan, Texas of skin cancer at the age of 87.[2]
