Walter Braga Netto

Walter Souza Braga Netto (born 11 March 1957) is a Brazilian army general and politician. He was the Minister of Defence from 2021 to 2022 during the Jair Bolsonaro presidency. Braga was Commander of the Eastern Military Command.[1]

In June 2022, he was chosen to be the next Vice President of Brazil for Jair Bolsonaro in his candidacy at the 2022 presidential election.[2]
