Wes Craven

American film director, screenwriter, and producer (1939–2015)

Wesley Earl "Wes" Craven (August 2, 1939 – August 30, 2015) was an American movie director, producer and writer. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He is well known for horror movie classics including A Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream.
