Willie L. Wilson (born June 16, 1948)[1] is an American businessman and politician. He has owned and operated many different McDonald's restaurant franchises and owns Omar Medical Supplies. He worked and lives in Chicago.[2][3]

He also produces the nationally syndicated gospel music television program Singsation, which won a Chicago/Midwest Emmy Award in 2012.[2][4][5]

Wilson ran for Mayor of Chicago in the 2015 election, in the 2019 election and in the 2023 election.[6] Wilson announced on June 1, 2015, that he would run as a candidate for President of the United States in the 2016 election. He ran as a Democrat.[2][7][8][9]
