Winkler County, Texas

Winkler County is a county in the state of Texas in the United States. In 2020, 7,791 people lived there.[1] The county seat is Kermit. It is named for Clinton M. Winkler, a Colonel in the Confederate Army. Music maker Roy Orbison completed High School in Winkler County.
