Assassination of Wissam al-Tawil

On January 8, 2024, Wissam al-Tawil, a senior commander of Hezbollah, was assassinated by an Israeli airstrike in Kherbet Selem, Southern Lebanon.[1][2][3] Wissam al-Tawil is the most senior member of Hezbollah killed during the Israel–Hamas war.[1][4]
