Yadira Caraveo
American politician
Yadira D. Caraveo (born December 23, 1980) is an American politician and pediatrician. She is a member of the Democratic Party. She was a member of the Colorado House of Representatives from 2019 to 2023. Caraveo is the U.S. representative for Colorado's 8th congressional district since 2023.[1][2] She was Colorado's first Latina member of Congress.[3][4] In November 2024, she lost her re-election to Republican Gabe Evans.
