Yuya Osako (大迫 勇也, Osako Yuya, born May 18, 1990) is a Japanese football player. He plays for the Japan national team.

Osako was born in Minamisatsuma on May 18, 1990. After graduating from Kagoshima Josei High School, he joined J1 League club Kashima Antlers in 2009. He played many matches from first season and Kashima won the J1 League champions in 2009. In 2013, he scored 19 goals and was selected Best Eleven award. In January 2014, he moved to German 2. Bundesliga club 1860 Munich. In summer 2014, he moved to Bundesliga club Köln. He played many matches for the club in 4 seasons. However Köln was relegated to 2. Bundesliga end of the 2017/18 season. In 2018, he moved to Werder Bremen.

In July 2013, Osako was selected the Japan national team for 2013 East Asian Cup. At this tournament, he debuted against China on July 21. In 2014, he was also selected Japan for 2014 World Cup. From 2017, he became a regular player instead Shinji Okazaki. In 2018, he participated 2018 World Cup. He played all 4 matches and scored 1 goal. In 2019, he also participated 2019 Asian Cup. He played 4 matches and scored 4 goals, and Japan won the 2nd place.
