Zuzana Licko

Zuzana Licko (born 1961) is an American font designer and typographer.[1][2][3][4] She created fonts like Citizen and Matrix.[1][4]
Early Life
changeLicko was born in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia.[2][5][4] She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1981 with a degree in Graphic Communications.[2][5]
Career
changeLicko started a magazine company called Emigre Graphics with her husband, Rudy VanderLans.[1][5] Her fonts mainly look bold and geometric.[2] One of her fonts, Matrix, was featured in many commercials.[1] She also designed fonts for the first Apple Macintosh 128k computer.[5][3] Five of her fonts from Emigre were used in MoMA New York in 2011.[5]
