1930–31 Austrian Cup

(Redirected from 1930-31 Austrian Cup)

The 1930-31 Austrian Cup was the cup competition in Austrian football. The competition was held in championship mode for Clubs from the first league. It is natural that this new competition met with resistance from the second-rate and amateur clubs, who were prevented from matches with clubs from the highest league. An announced replacement competition for these clubs did not take place.[1]

  5. This match was the decisive game for the overall victory. There was a long argument about the verification of the result due to a mistake by the referee in the winning goal for the WAC (first offside, but goal after a protest). The final desicion to verifie the result was on 4 June 1931.
