American International University-Bangladesh
American International University-Bangladesh (Bengali: আমেরিকান ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটি-বাংলাদেশ), commonly known by its acronym AIUB,[3] is a private university in Dhaka, Bangladesh.[4][5] This university was established in 1994 in the capital Dhaka of Bangladesh.[6][7] It offers several degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels from its four faculties.[8][9]

History
changeThe university was established in 1994[10][11] in Banani, Dhaka[12] as AMA International University Bangladesh, a joint venture between AMA Computer University of the Philippines, and local initiator Anwarul Abedin.[13][14] Regular academic classes started in 1995. AMA Computer University later left the partnership, and in 2001 the university was renamed American International University-Bangladesh.[15][16]
