Antony Armstrong-Jones, 1st Earl of Snowdon

Welsh photographer and filmmaker; ex-husband of Princess Margaret (1930-2017)

Antony Charles Robert Armstrong-Jones, 1st Earl of Snowdon (7 March 1930 – 13 January 2017), commonly known as Lord Snowdon, was an English photographer and filmmaker. He was married to Princess Margaret, younger daughter of King George VI and younger sister of Queen Elizabeth II.

Snowdon retired from the House of Lords on 31 March 2016.[1]

Armstrong-Jones died at his home in Kensington, London, England from kidney failure on 13 January 2017, aged 86.[2]
