The Arab Maghreb Union (UMA) is a trade agreement aiming for economic and future political unity among Arab countries of the Maghreb in North Africa. It was signed by Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco and Tunisia in February 1989. in April 2024, a tripartite meeting between Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya relaunches a new coalition. facing blocked regional integration.
