Assyrian language
Assyrian (endonym: ܣܥܪܝܛ, romanized: Sorith) is a Semitic language from 1950 BCE. It was an Akkadian dialect first used in northern Mesopotamia. Assyrian is currently an endangered language. It is spoken in the north of Iraq by a community Assyrian Christians from the Lower Tyari region of south-eastern Turkey. It is said the language is also spoken in Georgia.
