Bayonne
Bayonne (Gascon Baiona; Basque: Baiona; Spanish: Bayona) is a city and commune in southwestern France at the confluence of the Nive and Adour rivers, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department, of which it is a subprefecture.

Geography
changeBayonne has an area of 21.68 km2 (8.37 sq mi) and its average altitude is 28 m (92 ft); at the city hall, the altitude is 4 m (13 ft).[1]
Bayonne is surrounded by the communes Boucau, Tarnos (in the Landes department), Lahonce, Mouguerre, Saint-Pierre-d'Irube, Villefranque, Bassussarry and Anglet.
