Bernard Marcus

American businessman, philanthropist and political donor (1929–2024)

Bernard "Bernie" Marcus (May 12, 1929 – November 4, 2024) was an American businessman. He co-founded Home Depot and was the company's first CEO. He served as Chairman of the Board until retiring in 2002.
