Canadian Prairies

The Canadian Prairies is a region of Canada. There are different ways of deciding what parts of Canada is included in this region. Usually, the Prairie provinces include Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, since these provinces include prairie areas.

The prairie grasslands only cover the southern parts of these provinces. The geography of the prairie provinces also include forests, the Canadian Shield, and the Canadian Interior Plains.
