Donald M. Blinken
American diplomat and businessman
Donald Mayer Blinken[2] (November 11, 1925 – September 22, 2022) was an American politician and businessman.[3][4] He was born in New York City.

Blinken was director and one of the founders of E. M. Warburg Pincus & Company. He was the board chairman of the State University of New York from 1978 to 1990. He was the American Ambassador to Hungary from 1994 to 1998 during the Bill Clinton presidency.[1][5] He was the father of United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
Blinken died in East Hampton, New York on September 22, 2022, at age 96.[6][7][8]
