The municipality had, in 2010, a total population of 4,193: 2,161 men and 2,032 women. The urban population was 66% of the total population.[1]
HistoryEdit
El Llano became a municipality by the law 687 of 2 July 1974. Before that date, it was part of Comendador.[2]
GeographyEdit
El Llano has an area of 17.1 km2 (6.6 sq mi). It is to the east of Comendador, next to the San Juan province.
