Erie County is a county in the state of New York in the United States. As of the 2020 census, 954,236 people lived there.[1] The county seat is Buffalo.[2]

Erie County is home to the Buffalo Bills football team, the Buffalo Sabres hockey team, and the Buffalo Bandits lacrosse team.
