Field vole

The field vole or short-tailed vole (Microtus agrestis) is a type of vole. It is about 10 cm long. It has a short tail. It can be found from any coast facing the Atlantic Ocean to Lake Baikal. It lives in moist grassy habitats, such as woodland, marsh or on river banks. It is a least concern species.[2]
