Fuad Masum
7th President of the Republic of Iraq
Muhammad Fuad Masum (Arabic: محمد فؤاد معصوم Muḥammad Fūād Ma‘ṣūm; Kurdish: محەممەد فوئاد مەعسووم, born 1 January 1938)[1] was the seventh President of Iraq from 24 July 2014 through 2 October 2019.

Masum is a veteran Iraqi Kurdish politician[2][3] and was elected as President following the 2014 parliamentary election.[4]
Masum is the second non-Arab president of Iraq, replacing Jalal Talabani, also Kurdish, and is a friend of Talabani.
