The song is a protest song against former President Donald Trump. The song was made in less than an hour. YG said that he made the song after seeing Hussle's connection and work with Mexican immigrants and Nipsey said he was angry about Trump's views on Hispanic people and immigration.[4] YG said that the United States Secret Service tried to stop his album's release. [5]

When Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump in the 2020 United States presidential election, the song was able to reach #1 on the iTunes music charts.[6]
