Gérald Darmanin

French politician

Gérald Moussa Darmanin (born 11 October 1982) is a French politician who has been the Minister of State and of Justice since 2024. He was the Minister of the Interior in the governments of Jean Castex, Élisabeth Borne and Gabriel Attal from 2020 until 2024. Darmanin was Mayor of Tourcoing from 2014 to 2017 and Minister of Public Action and Accounts in the cabinet of Prime Minister Édouard Philippe from 2017 until 2020.[1][2]
