Élisabeth Borne

Prime Minister of France from 2022 to 2024

Élisabeth Borne (born 18 April 1961) is a French politician of La République En Marche! (LREM) and was the Prime Minister of France from 2022 until 2024. She was Minister of Labour, Employment and Integration in the government of Prime Minister Jean Castex from 2020 to 2022.

On May 16, 2022, Emmanuel Macron appointed her as the next Prime Minister of France, following Castex's resignation.[1]

Borne resigned on 8 January 2024 after the controversial passage of an immigration bill.[2][3]
