Isolation center (Belarus)

Isolation centers in Belarus are prisons where people are held in rooms alone for some time.

The Belarusian "isolation centers" became very known as part of the 2020 Belarusian protests after 2020 Belarusian presidential election. The government and Alexander Lukashenko let punishments on protesters be done. People have been moved in isolation centers. There have been news on bad handling of people and torture in isolation centers.[1][2] The most known isolation center is Okrestina.[3]
