Jadam is a clan of Hindus.[1] The name got changed from Jadav to Jadam.[2][3] They are found in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, etc.[4]

Jadams are said to be the great ancestors of the Samma tribe in Sindh.[5] Bhati Rajputs and Jadaun Rajputs are together called descendants of the Jadamas.[6] Some of the Jadams later on became Jats.[7]
