Jap

Jap is an English language racial slur referring to a Japanese person. It gained popularity in Western countries (e.g Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, etc) during World War II after the bombing of Darwin in Australia and the bombing of Pearl Harbor in the US.
