John Spratt
American politician (1942–2024)
John McKee Spratt Jr. (November 1, 1942 – December 14, 2024) was an American Democratic politician. He was the U.S. representative for South Carolina's 5th congressional district from 1983 to 2011.

Spratt was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2010.[1] He died on December 14, 2024 from problems caused by the disease at the age of 82.[2]
