History

The company was opened in 1968 with the name Johor State Economic Development Corporation (JSEDC). The company started its operation on 1 August 1970. In 1995, the company was renamed to Johor Corporation.[4][5]

In 2021, the company has a total asset of MYR23 billion. In 2016, the company had more than 250 subsidiaries in various industries, such as fast food, health care, plantation, property and real estates.[6] In 2016, it had more than 63,000 workforce in total.[4]
