Percy Lapid
changePercival Carag Mabasa (March 14, 1959 – October 3, 2022), also known as Percy Lapid, was a professional Filipino journalist and radio broadcaster. He worked on set for the radio program Lapid Fire at DWBL.[1]
Since the 1980s, he worked as a radio reporter and commentator for DZME, DWBC, DZRM, DWIZ.[2]
Murder
changeLapid was killed on October 3, 2022, at around 8:30 pm (UTC+8) while he was returning home. Two people got off their motorcycle near Lapid's car and shot him.[3]
His car was about 50 meters (160 ft) from the gate of his home.[4]
