Konrad Krajewski (born 25 November 1963)[1] is a Polish Roman Catholic cardinal. He has been the Almoner of His Holiness since 2013.

Early life and education

Konrad Krajewski was born in Łódź, Poland. He was ordained a priest on 11 June 1988 by Bishop Władysław Ziółek. He studied in Rome and obtained degrees in liturgy.[1][2]

Ecclesiastical career

Krajewski worked in the Vatican as a Papal Master of Ceremonies. In 2013, Pope Francis appointed him as the Almoner of His Holiness. He was consecrated as a bishop by Pope Francis on 17 September 2013.[1][2]

On 28 June 2018, Pope Francis made him a cardinal.[1] He is known for his work with the poor and homeless.[3]
