Laura Friedman
American politician
Laura Syril Friedman[1] (born December 3, 1966) is an American politician and former movie producer who is the member-elect of the U.S. House of Representatives for California's 30th congressional district. She is a member of the Democratic Party.

Before, Friedman was a member of the California State Assembly since 2016. Friedman was a member of the Glendale City Council from 2009 to 2016.[2] She was also Mayor of Glendale from 2011 to 2012.[3]
Friedman also helped write the pro-housing bill to stop minimum parking requirements for housing mass transit stations.[4] She is a progressive.[5]
