Marianne Battani

United States federal judge

Marianne Olga Battani (May 18, 1944 – September 9, 2021)[1] was an American politician and lawyer. She was the United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan from 2000 until her death. She was nominated to the court by President Bill Clinton. Battani was born in Detroit, Michigan.

Battani died on September 9, 2021 in Beverly Hills, Michigan from cancer, aged 77.[1]
