Mariano Rajoy Brey (born 27 March 1955) is the former Prime Minister of Spain.[1] His party, the Popular Party (Partido Popular, PP) won the elections in 2011. He won his re-election campaign in the 2016 election. His party had many corruption scandals and because of this a lot of people in Spanish congress voted to quit him from presidency on June 1, 2018[2] and put Pedro Sánchez in his place.
