Matt Rosendale
American politician (born 1960)
Matthew Martin Rosendale (born July 7, 1960) is an American politician. He is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Montana since 2021. He was the Montana State Auditor from 2017 until 2021. Rosendale was state senator from 2013 to 2017. He is a member of the Republican Party.

Rosendale was born in Baltimore, Maryland. Rosendale studied at Chesapeake College. Rosendale served in the Montana House of Representatives.
In July 2017, Rosendale announced his candidacy for U.S. Senate.[1] He won the Republican nomination, but lost the general election by less than 2% to Democratic incumbent Jon Tester in November 2018.
In 2020, he was elected to the United States House of Representatives, replacing Greg Gianforte.
